Apex Anima & FRZNTE

In this live performance, Apex Anima & FRZNTE merge the astral with the physical, the platonic with the erotic, and the static with the acrobatic.

The artistic duo performs a high-energy audiovisual live show, mixing live music, pole dance, visuals, and lasers. Icelandic singer Apex Anima performs her latest experimental electronica pop gems, gathered on far-reaching, interdimensional road trips and mined with careful, ethereal labour. Pole performer FRZNTE carves the sound into space with pole dance: inverted splits, spins and drops cut through by laser beams, smoke and projected faces. Under the glitter, the show takes on the strange state of the present. Corporate life, loneliness, and our growing intimacy with AI become material for their deadpan, comedic act. Even hypercapitalism gets its own love song, “I Want to Lick the Eyeballs of Free Market Capitalism.”

At the end, all comes apart. Robes, wigs, boots and plastic pile up on the floor, hair whips, bodies crawl, and the evening ends in a glorious total mess.
